It’s hard to imagine something you can’t find on Amazon today! Even so, I was surprised by some of the items that could be delivered to your doorstep at the click of a button. These products are sold on Amazon and the companies behind them are committed to giving back in a variety of ways to causes that they are particularly passionate about. Some of these brands are new to me and some are familiar staples and yet each of them is finding a way to create a feel good strategy that aligns with both their company and their consumers. Feel Good and take care of you.
Preserve believes in plastics with a purpose. When nothing is wasted, everything is gained. From their inception, Preserve zeroed in on using recycled plastic to make their products. They choose to focus on recycled plastic to both reduce the dependence on virgin plastic and encourage recycling. From their products to their packaging Preserve is concerned with saving energy and preserving our natural resources. To go a step further and keep even more plastics from landfills they developed their very own takeback program called Gimme 5, where they collect #5 plastic to create new Preserve products with, creating a closed loop for the lifecycle of their products.

“The incredible volume of online shopping also means there is a huge opportunity for people to inform themselves and vote with their dollars for the kind of businesses we want in this world.” – Deana Becker, Director of Stakeholder Operations at Preserve.
